Miracle of a Community that Cares
Miracle of a Community that Cares
The holiday season, often seen as a time of joy, can also bring deep loneliness and longing for many. In December, the absence of loved ones and the pressure to feel festive can lead to feelings of isolation, sadness, and even mental health struggles, highlighting the need for community and connection more than ever.
Open to All Cultures! Community Leaders, Please Reach Out!
Though this is an event that takes place on Christmas Day, we emphasize inclusivity and invite leaders of all faiths to join us. Our mission is to support all children, regardless of their culture. Whether your children are ill, your family is separated by deployment, work, or other situations beyond their control, or you simply wish to share in the holiday spirit, we welcome you to be part of this community celebration.
Event Structure & Content
The “Miracle of a Community that Cares” will begin at 4 PM EST on December 24th and continue until 6 AM EST on December 26th, covering Christmas Day globally. The event starts at 12 AM on Christmas Day on Christmas Island and concludes at 12:00 AM in Hawaii on December 26th.
- Santa’s Story Time: Santa will read classic holiday stories and uplifting children’s books. Businesses can sponsor these segments for promotion.
- Personalized Shoutouts: Santa will deliver personalized shoutouts to children, based on names and messages collected in advance, to make the event more engaging.
- Special Messages: Pre-recorded messages from parents to children and from deployed military personnel to their families will be featured.
- Messages from children to their parents! We will help kids with the supervision of a responsible adult to record a message to a loved one who is unable to be with them at this time.
- Educational and messaging from other culture leaders so we can support all our kids and families in this time where loneliness has hurt so many through the years.
Sponsorships will help support our distribution efforts, broadcasting equipment, and book drive, ensuring families and children receive books from Santa.
Our goal is to bring joy and comfort to children and families during the holiday season. We look forward to your participation and support!
