Food & Basic Needs

Where Compassion for People Becomes Support That Sustains Lives
Doing business anywhere. Helping others everywhere

Food and Basic Needs brings together partners who make sure individuals and families have the essentials required to live with dignity. Whether it is a parent searching for groceries, a neighbor needing hygiene items, a senior struggling to afford daily necessities, or a community member facing an unexpected hardship, their stories remind us that everyone deserves stability. You do not have to live near them to care. You do not have to know them to feel the pull to help. Compassion reaches farther than distance ever could.

A family visiting a food pantry for the first time. A neighbor needing warm clothing. A child requiring school supplies. A person choosing between medication and meals. A moment that speaks to your heart the instant you hear it.

This page highlights partners whose work provides nourishment, essentials, and hope to people facing difficult circumstances. Some offer food. Some provide clothing. Some supply hygiene items. Some help with daily necessities that keep families steady. All of them represent missions that deserve support from anyone who believes no one should go without the basics.

Your purchases make that possible. Your heart chooses the mission. Your support helps these partners continue offering care, resources, and encouragement to those who need it most.

If you are an organization dedicated to food security, essential needs, community support, or emergency relief, we invite you to join us. Your mission belongs here. Your story deserves to be seen. And together, we can make sure no one feels forgotten.

Explore the Mission Partners below and discover the causes that inspire compassion, connection, and hope. By choosing to shop with partners located anywhere, you help support missions everywhere.

1:3 women & 1:4 men experience sexual violence, physical violence and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime and 72% of murder-suicides stem from domestic violence.

Confronting Domestic Violence is a crisis response and survivor support organization built from lived experience, courage, and the determination to save families from danger. Their mission began when founder Michelle survived a double attempted homicide while eight months pregnant and far from home. With no support system, no job, and no safe place to turn, she rebuilt her life and transformed her trauma into a promise. A promise that no parent should ever have to choose between safety and homelessness. Today, Confronting Domestic Violence provides real time assistance to victims escaping abuse, including relocation support, emergency resources, confidential guidance, and connections to safe housing. They also train workplaces, community groups, and organizations to recognize warning signs before tragedy occurs. Their work protects families, empowers survivors, and ensures that no one faces domestic violence alone. Every program reflects their commitment to saving lives, restoring hope, and helping survivors rebuild with dignity and strength.

How to Use the Program

Individuals seeking help can connect with Confronting Domestic Violence through their website, where they can access crisis support, relocation assistance, safety planning, and confidential guidance. Survivors can request immediate help, join educational programs, or connect with trained advocates who understand the urgency and complexity of domestic violence. Supporters can strengthen the mission by selecting Confronting Domestic Violence when submitting receipts from any Giving Partner through Community Pay It Forward. Every receipt becomes direct support that helps fund emergency relocation, crisis resources, survivor advocacy, and life saving assistance for families escaping abuse.

The mission of Confronting Domestic Violence, Inc. is to provide real time resources to real time victims and their children and offer relocation services when they have a safe place to go but not the means to get there. No parent should have to leave everything behind when moving for safety or become homeless because of escaping.

Community Pay It Forward does not accept cash donations for any program except the Come Together Compass. If you would like to make a cash donation, please use the link below to donate directly. Your generosity helps ensure every survivor supported by Confronting Domestic Violence receives the safety, stability, and hope they deserve.

MISSION STATEMENT
“Bring hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Project Diehard was formed in May of 2018 and received our 501C3 in September 2018. I’m here to tell you. It’s not that easy to get a nonprofit off the ground. I won’t bore you with the details, but ProjectDiehard is growing but we have had a few setbacks. We are a faith-based scripture oriented organization. As you know when called to do the Lord’s work, Satin will do his best to take you down.

They tell me that I can’t, they tell me that I Don’t have what it takes, I’m crazy. Hanging on by faith is better than Just standing back and watching God do. When God speaks the mountains move. We have been blessed with a donation of 20 acres and a 10K sq ft building. It is named Forward Operating Base Rush, after SSGT Courtney Rush who fought the demos January 3rd, 2012. We have everything in place to provide Skill training, Therapy, Counseling. FOB Rush when completed will house 12 Single Veterans and this is what sets us apart, 2 veterans with their families for up to a year.

Project Diehard is a veteran founded, veteran driven organization dedicated to combating veteran suicide by providing hope, purpose, and community to those who have served. Led by founder Brian Gibson, Project Diehard focuses on supporting veterans and their families through transitional housing, peer support, mental health resources, and mission centered community engagement. Their flagship initiative, Forward Operating Base Rush, offers long term stability for veterans in crisis by providing safe housing, structured support, and a place to rebuild their lives with dignity. Project Diehard also operates Outpost programs across the country, creating local hubs where veterans can connect, receive assistance, and find the camaraderie they often lose after leaving the military. Their mission is simple and powerful. No veteran should fight their battles alone. Through outreach, events, partnerships, and direct support, Project Diehard stands beside veterans who are struggling and helps them rediscover hope, purpose, and strength.

How to Use the Program

Veterans, families, and supporters can connect with Project Diehard through their website, where they can access information about Forward Operating Base Rush, Outpost programs, volunteer opportunities, and mental health resources. Veterans in need can request assistance, join peer support groups, or participate in mission centered activities that help restore connection and stability. Supporters can strengthen the mission by selecting Project Diehard when submitting receipts from any Giving Partner through Community Pay It Forward. Every receipt becomes direct support that helps fund transitional housing, mental health outreach, suicide prevention programs, and community based veteran support.

Community Pay It Forward does not accept cash donations for any program except the Come Together Compass. If you would like to make a cash donation, please use the link below to donate directly. Your generosity helps ensure every veteran supported by Project Diehard receives the hope, stability, and community they deserve.

UA Legacy Grants is a mission driven initiative founded by Mark Miller, known nationwide as Dr. H₂O, to ensure that safe, clean drinking water is accessible to every person in need. Built on the belief that clean water is a human right, UA Legacy Grants focuses on equipping shelters, soup kitchens, recovery centers, and crisis response organizations across the United States with emergency water filtration systems capable of protecting up to three hundred people a day. These systems provide reliable, safe drinking water during natural disasters, infrastructure failures, and daily hardship, ensuring that vulnerable populations never have to question the safety of the water they drink.

While many clean water campaigns focus globally, UA Legacy Grants is committed to impact here at home. This mission is about preparedness, dignity, and protecting people who are already fighting homelessness, hunger, addiction, and instability. By supplying frontline organizations with dependable filtration systems, UA Legacy Grants strengthens communities, supports recovery efforts, and ensures that no one in America is left without clean water when they need it most. Through education, outreach, and partnerships, the organization continues to expand its reach and uphold its promise to safeguard one of the most essential human needs.

How to Use the Program

Shelters, recovery centers, community organizations, and supporters can connect with UA Legacy Grants through their website, where they can request emergency water filtration systems, learn about the technology, and explore opportunities to support the mission. Organizations can apply for grants that provide life saving filtration units designed for both crisis response and daily use. Supporters can strengthen the mission by selecting UA Legacy Grants when submitting receipts from any Giving Partner through Community Pay It Forward.
