Holly Miller

Thriving Beyond Trauma

holly@amboh.net        www.amboh.net

Holly Miller is a survivor turned thriver, an advocate, and trauma recovery coach who has transformed her own personal tragedy into a powerful mission of healing and empowerment. After experiencing a traumatic event at the age of 14, where Holly and her friend Julie were kidnapped and raped, Holly chose the path of healing through years of therapy to discover the power of resilience, self-care, compassion, forgiveness and an unstoppable mindset. Unfortunately, the same was not true for Julie. Last year, tragedy struck again when Julie passed away as a direct result of the trauma and lasting impact of that night nearly 4 decades ago. It was a devastating loss that shook Holly to her core. It was in the midst of her grief that she made a promise to herself and to Julie’s memory, paired with her unwavering journey of recovery and resilience to further fuel her determination to make a difference. She knew she had to honor Julie ensuring that her story would not be forgotten and that no one else would have to suffer in silence. Holly vowed to not let Julie’s death be in vain. Driven by her own healing journey and a deep desire to support others, Holly founded AmBōh Essentials, a platform dedicated to trauma recovery and holistic well-being. Through her new coaching program, Holly provides a safe and compassionate space for survivors to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. As a trauma recovery coach, Holly combines her personal experiences with evidence-based practices to guide individuals towards healing and transformation. She believes in the power of storytelling, education, and practical tools to empower survivors to help them navigate their own recovery journeys and thrive. Episode 6- Footprints Forward
Introducing Lesley Bradshaw
Certified Life Coach                                             (868) 678-8066                         lesley@lesleybradshaw.com                   www.lesleybradshaw.com

Her aim is for you to reach the same level strength and freedom for ALL women who come upon her.

Today I can proudly say that through Coaching I have found my way back to myself. I am able to hold healthy boundaries and make the decisions that are best for me regardless of what the Court of Public Opinion thinks.

When I first heard about Life Coaching, I thought it was something only rich people did as some new fashionable fad. I have a background in Psychology, so I am no stranger to helping and supporting others with their mental health. What really led me to this was being able to support a friend to realize her culinary dreams when everyone around her was telling her to follow what they considered a more “practical” path. With my guidance she has been able to stand up for herself and her beliefs, create boundaries with those people who would seek to bring her down and follow her passions.

Episode 7- Footprints Forward
Introducing the Michael Denson Story
Join the family as, together, we work to bring an end to the silence that leads to suicide. As we begin the conversations that will save lives of those who are lacking hope and resources.

A true story of friendship and trust. Michael tells how friend of the show Tyreek Robinson was there when times got tough and he was ready to quit. This is a great show how a stranger can be the best, most important friend and mentor you can have.

Episode 8- Footprints Forward
Happy Fathers Day
The Family Dives Into a Discussion About Inclusion And Caring. What does it mean to really care about others. What does it mean when we judge or exclude those who are differently abled. And, we talk about Fathers Day and difficulties some men have with this day.

Episode 9- Footprints Forward
Introducing Joanna Daniels
Safeguard Our Schools

This is a place where we can come together and pray, plan, and take action for our schools.

Suicide is a difficult topic to discuss, but it is a serious public health issue that affects all too many families. As a parent, you can learn the facts and how to help your child if they are struggling with suicidal thoughts.

Facts about youth suicide
If you’re unfamiliar, some of the statistics about teenage suicide may surprise you.
  • Suicide is the second leading cause of death in the United States among young people aged 12 to 18 (CDC WISQARS, 2020).
  • More teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease combined (Jason Foundation, 2023).
  • In a typical day in the United States, there are an average of 3,703 suicide attempts made by middle school and high school students (CDC WISQARS 2020).
  • Far more children think about killing themselves than those who actually attempt suicide. This is called suicidal ideation.
  • Four out of five individuals considering suicide give some sign of their intentions, either verbally or behaviorally (Jason Foundation, 2023).
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth are four times more likely to consider suicide than their peers (The Trevor Project, 2021).
Episode 10- Footprints Forward
Introducing Brian Gibson

projectdiehard.org

(270) 366-6189

contact@projectdiehard.org

As a faith-based, scripture oriented organization, our mission is to bring public awareness to veteran suicide and to assist veterans in coping with the stress and difficulties in transitioning from active duty military to civilian life.

In dealing with the VA in two separate instances (both personally in beginning this process that took over a year when we began, and in helping our son, who is a wounded warrior suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury), we have seen how overwhelmed and understaffed the VA truly is. Soldiers are lost as they wait for the help they desperately need.

Having served this country for 26 years as a Soldier and Combat Medic, I lost more of my Brothers and Sisters to suicide when we got home than I did during our time deployed in combat.I wanted to bring awareness to Veteran Suicide, which led me to start Project Diehard

Learn more about her journey and find out why John Hopkins say’s Research to date demonstrate safety of psilocybin in regulated spaces facilitated by medical team over a series of guided sessions; and as a part of cognitive behavioral therapy, psilocybin helps in reducing anxiety in some cancer patients, and in facilitating smoking cessation for some.

Christ is in us, all the treasures and wisdom are inside of you, my role is to listen, pray, ask powerful questions, and keep you accountable to do the things you say you’ll do.
But…

We live in extraordinary times! Men are now more afraid than ever to be masculine, free, and alive.  Many men live isolated, lonely, and unconnected lives.  We hide behind the veil of status symbols hoping the truth will never come out. Ultimately, our social lives, and intimate relationships with family and God suffer.  Does that sound familiar?
