A Happy Holiday for All,
2020 is creating a few challenges when it comes to helping people for the holiday seasons. We will have to be very creative when it comes to help our community neighbors. For this to happen, we will be asking for your assistance with donations, participation, space, and idea’s. We will be pulling out every stop we can think of to reach the largest number of people we can. Everything from online auctions, drawings, Cub Club Projects, family holiday adoptions, and of course, the Community Pay it Forward Fundraising Program.
We will be adding A Happy Holiday for All to the Community Fundraising Program. This means that with proof of purchase, from any of our great Community Pay it Forward Fundraising Partners, can be used as a donation to help us purchase dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas with additional food items for any visiting family or most importantly, the families themselves. You can find our ever growing partner list at www.CommunityPayitForward.us/our-fundraising-partners This is a simple referral program where our partners turn driven sales into donations to the community. If you have any questions about how to join our Partnership Family, please, feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will also be instituting a “Adopt a Family” program for the first time. We will be asking for people, families, and businesses to adopt families in need for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are going to request that our providers make the commitment to offer comfort, support, and joy to the same family for both holidays. This will give us the security to know that these families are taken care of. We are going to plea that people give food and toys or store gift cards for these donations. Cash and refillable cards are too easy to be purposed for other needs. This is also a way to build a relationship in the community and build love between neighbors. We will be asking our donors to fill out information to help us match them with a family in their area. That way they can easily dictate what they think they can handle without creating any complications to their own family. We will never ask someone to give when they cannot.
Cub Club Creativity and Support. We are going to bring back the program where our Cub Club Members create a poster board representation of their togetherness, the holidays, or giving to our community. We will take 4 of these pages and connect them to a box in their community where they can share their great work with the community. We will then offer the kids a reward from somewhere in the community, (Pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, shirts, what ever we can get donated.) Feel free to contact us if you have a donation for our Creative Cubs. (970) 909-0751 or email@example.com
Our support will come in the way of donating to our Cubs that have to go to the hospital. We will be working to collect books, comics, journals and diaries, various religious written word, activity pages, art pads writing and drawing materials and more for as many Colorado Pediatric Wings, (non-children’s hospitals) We will also use a portion of donated money to purchase toys for kids who are in the hospital during the season, including Children’s Hospital.
Covid19 has done a number on us all! We need to be there for all of those who were hit the most. Join us to make sure that for those who are feeling the biggest pinch.
