Joyful Jobs is a woman-owned recruiting agency that provides fast, flexible, and affordable talent acquisition services catered to small and medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations. We bring the joy back to hiring! Our main services are direct hires, where we work with client companies to fill a certain job opening. Rather than the typical fee structure based on a percentage of a candidate’s salary, we have a flat fee model which is very affordable – $2500 for entry-to mid-level positions, $8000 for Director-level roles, and $12,000 for Executive/VP jobs.
Our Founder, Emily Chavez, believes in becoming a deeply invested partner for her clients and their hiring needs. She caps her case load at no more than 10 open jobs at any given time in order to provide plenty of personalized attention to each client and role. One of our core business values is integrity – prioritizing good business relationships over profit and being honest and transparent at all times.
Emily Chavez had always wanted to be a business owner. Even as a child, she dreamed of being a horse trainer and built the kid-version of a financial model (in fact, this is still one of her dreams someday!). Emily attended the University of Arizona, where she majored in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, then spent her first 5 years after college working in marketing and recruitment for a growing charter school. In December 2020, Emily and her husband welcomed their first child, a beautiful little girl named Avalynn. This major life change combined with the competitive hiring market inspired Emily to finally start her own business, and Joyful Jobs was born in July 2021. Emily loves being able to control her own schedule and maximize time with Avalynn, while also helping SMBs and non-profits hire the amazing team members they so deserve.
