Hello! I’m Carolyn Estrada—Caro, for short. With a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, my journey has taken me from the intricate world of science to the boundless creativity of graphic design. This unexpected shift began after a life-changing car accident, which led me to rediscover the joy and healing power of design. What started as a safe space during recovery quickly became a fulfilling career, driven by passion and purpose.
Since 2018, I’ve been dedicated to crafting designs that resonate, inspire, and empower. As the founder and owner of Dreamsomedia, established in 2023, I specialize in creating accessible, inclusive, and diverse designs for small businesses and nonprofits. My goal is to bring visions to life with thoughtful, visually stunning artwork that helps businesses reach their audiences and thrive.
One of our proudest decisions is hiring Carolyn to design the new logo for Community Pay it Forward, helping to create a deeper, stronger identity for their meaningful mission.
Whether it’s logos, branding, flyers, business cards, t-shirt artwork, packaging, or something entirely new, I always say: If I haven’t done it, I haven’t done it yet. What sets my work apart is my focus on accessibility. I go the extra mile to ensure designs are inclusive by considering color contrast, typography, and other elements that make them accessible for individuals with visual impairments. Beauty is subjective, and I believe in offering options to celebrate each client’s unique vision. Collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity are at the heart of every project I undertake.
Outside of design, I’m passionate about learning languages and exploring different cultures. These experiences remind me that no matter where we come from, we all seek connection, understanding, and joy. In my downtime, you’ll often find me hiking, playing with my dogs, spending time with loved ones, or getting lost in a great book.
Carolyn is working Nationwide for all your branding needs!
