Hi, I’m Lynn Sabulski, the heart and hands behind Footnotes Tarot here in NYC. My journey into tarot wasn’t something I mapped out—it unfolded in the most unexpected way. I once had a psychic vision of myself reading tarot, and when the very deck I saw in that vision was later gifted to me, I knew I had to follow that path. Soon after, I was offered my first professional reading opportunity, and what began as instinct has grown into a calling I’ve followed since 2013.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of reading for thousands of people—individually, in groups, in-person, and virtually. Each reading is different, but my goal is always the same: to create a safe, non-judgmental space where people can reflect, find clarity, and reconnect with their own power. Tarot may begin as a deck of cards, but in the right hands and with an open heart, it can spark deep insights and transformative moments.

Beyond tarot, I’ve woven in other practices that complement this work. I’m a Level Usui Reiki practitioner, I’ve studied astrology, and I’m a registered Wedding Officiant in NYC, performing legal ceremonies as a Universal Life Church minister. My background also includes 15 years as a college Financial Aid Administrator, helping families navigate big decisions about education and the future—work that shaped the dedication and care I now bring into every reading.

For me, tarot isn’t about telling the future—it’s about holding space, offering perspective, and helping you see what’s already within you. Whether you come with curiosity or a deep question, I’m here to guide, listen, and walk with you for however long the cards have something to say.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my partner and with our family and friends. I enjoy nature walks, coffee, very amateur gardening, and discovering new favorite places in NYC. I also have a dance background, which is a big part of why I moved here in the first places, so I also go out dancing sometimes.
